New Delhi: (Tamsil Shahezad Khan) The anticipation surrounding the release of the Jawan trailer continues to build, even a day after its debut. While Shah Rukh Khan takes the lead in this upcoming film, it boasts an ensemble cast featuring some of the industry's biggest names, including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and, hold your breath, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). But that's not all! Atlee's Jawan also showcases an exceptional lineup of talent, with Sanya Malhotra, TV star Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, singer-actor Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi. Let's take a look at the much-talked-about Jawan trailer:

The biggest surprise of the clip is undoubtedly Deepika Padukone's appearance. Jawan marks the fifth collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Their previous ventures, including "Om Shanti Om," "Happy New Year," "Chennai Express," and the highly anticipated "Pathaan," have all been box office hits.

Imagine the powerhouse combination of Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara on screen - it's enough to leave fans in awe. Jawan marks the first film where these two superstars share the screen. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan graced Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's wedding in Chennai, further solidifying their bond.

Sanya Malhotra, who had been skillfully evading questions about working with Shah Rukh Khan, finally spilled the beans in an interview with Sucharita Tyagi. She expressed her delight at being able to talk about the project, stating, "I am just happy that I am finally being able to talk about it. Earlier, whenever people asked me if I was part of Jawan, I would dodge the question horribly, saying things like 'I hope I get to work with Shah Rukh Khan.'"

Priyamani, who previously shared screen space with SRK in the song "One, Two, Three, Four" from "Chennai Express," is also a part of Jawan. In an earlier interview with Outlook, she confirmed her involvement in the project and expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, saying, "He is one of the best persons and co-stars I could have ever asked for. I absolutely love that man... I love Shah Rukh Khan. I am also a fan of his, just like the billions of people who are his fans."

Ridhi Dogra, a prominent name in the Hindi television industry, shared Atlee's tweet about the film, describing her experience as a masterclass, dream, and adventure all rolled into one. She expressed her gratitude to Atlee, stating, "Thank you for making me a small part of the magnificent #Jawan7thSeptember2023. You're a Geniuussssss."

In case you missed it, singer Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, known for her appearances in web-series like "Feels Like Ishq" and "The Broken News," revealed in an interview with Outlook how she landed a role in Jawan. She recounted receiving a call for the film while she was in Kolkata for a concert, and soon after, she auditioned in Mumbai without much knowledge about the project. To her astonishment, she learned that she had been chosen for a role alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking about her character, she remained tight-lipped, only revealing that she plays a significant role in Shah Rukh Khan's core team.

Girija Oak, a star in Marathi cinema with films like "Goshta Choti Dongraevadhi," "Gulmohar," "Manini," and "Adgule Madgule," shared her association with Atlee's directed project in an Instagram post earlier this year. After two years of dedication and secrecy, she expressed her excitement about the film finally hitting theaters, accompanied by the hashtag #cantkeepcalm.

Joining this talented group of women is Lehar Khan, known for her work in projects such as "Parched" and "Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid." Additionally, Aaliyah Qureishi also stars in the film. With such an incredible lineup, audiences eagerly await the reign of these women on the big screen in "Jawan."
